The research examines the post-M&A performance of businesses in the technology sector. The abnormal return, the discrepancy between a stock's anticipated and actual long- and short-term returns, is the variable used to evaluate performance. The results reveal exciting information about the elements causing the anomalous returns: high in the short run(Cumulative return) and low in the longer run ( buy and hold returns ).
